What year did you become a real estate agent?
The agent has not answered this question.
How many years have you been in Real Estate?
I have been a Realtor for almost three years.
What is the average home price in your market?
The average home price in the greater Las Vegas area is still around $300,000.
Are there any new developments or trends in your area?
The real estate trend now is that it is a buyer's market. There are lots of great deals in new and resale homes.
Why do you enjoy being a real estate agent?
I really like helping people find the perfect house for them. I like to make sure people understand all the aspects of the deal. I also enjoy giving advice on how to sell a home quicker and for more money.
What is the most challenging issue you face as a Real Estate Professional?
There is always a challenge when prices start to go down and there is more inventory. The bigger challenge is to make people aware of the situation and get them to act responsibly.
Tell us one of your client success stories or an interesting moment in your profession.
I have sold most of my listings in less than 30 days, so there are a lot of success stories there.
I had a family that had credit issues, but wanted a specific type of house on a specific budget. I got them on a loan program and found them a great deal on a house and they ended up with getting a new house for less money than they were paying for rent. They love the house and the area and the whole experience took only about three months.
What is your best characteristic?
I would say that my best characteristic is patience. I also have a lot of knowledge, but you can only tell people so much. Then you have to be patient and let them decide how to go forward without being pushy.
Who or what inspires you the most?
My clients inspire me the most. If I did not think I was helping people out, I would not be in this business.
What is the best advice you ever received?
A number of people have said that location is the key to real estate, but I was told that timing is more important. I think you can see where that is true.
If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?
I used to live in New York City and it is still one of my favorite places. Right now I think here in Las Vegas is where I want to live. I also enjoy traveling overseas, I just don't think I would want anywhere but the US to be my permanent residence.
