What is the most challenging issue you face as a Real Estate Professional?
Staying on top of the latest technologies that are utalized to sell homes today and in the future. The Internet, iPod Podcasting, Virtual Tours, mass e-mail marketing, etc. are the realities of selling real estate today. It is important to stay on top of what sells homes today, not what used to sell homes.
Tell us one of your client success stories or an interesting moment in your profession.
Seeing someone purchase their first home is still my greatest joy in real estate. Seeing someone's eyes light up when they realize they now OWN their very own home still gets me every time.
What is your best characteristic?
Dedication to my job, and striving to be the best at what I do. It is impossible to know everything there is to know about real estate, the market is ever changing, technology is always changing, etc. and therefore I am always looking to learn more and stay ahead of the competition.
Who or what inspires you the most?
My wife (and partner) Sue Goad as well as the rest of The Goad Team, we are constantly bouncing ideas off of each other in order to find better ways to sell those properties we have listed for sale and how to better serve our valued clients.
What is the best advice you ever received?
The first training statement I ever recieved from my first broker... "Always think of your clients interests first and your commission check second."
I tell every member of my team that we live by that very philosophy, and always will.
If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?
Las Vegas...It is the most exciting city in the world. Ever changing, always exciting, great economy, good schools, low taxes, it is the greatest city in the world. I have lived here all of my life and don't care to ever move away.
