Happily, I've been selling real estate in the Henderson and Las Vegas area for 6 years.

What is the average home price in your market?
I've sold everything from a $40,000 condo up to $1.2 Million custom home!!

Are there any new developments or trends in your area?
Where do I start? Vegas is booming! There are new master planned communities, such as Inspirada being built in Henderson and there are several buildings going up on the strip, such as City Center & the World Market Center!

Why do you enjoy being a real estate agent?
I enjoy being a Realtor because I meet so many great people, and I've made some life long friends along the way. I've always felt like I was more of an educator than a "saleswoman".

What is the most challenging issue you face as a Real Estate Professional?
The most challenging issue would be staying educated and up to date with this changing market. It is my job to assist my clients in making the right choices throughout their transaction.

Tell us one of your client success stories or an interesting moment in your profession.
2007 has been the most interesting moment in my career because the market isn't "easy". I'm learning so much about the market and what it takes to sell a home quickly or get my buyer the best deal. There are a lot of components to a successful transaction and this market forces agents to know all aspects of the business.

What is your best characteristic?
Communication! I take great pride in what I do so when buying or selling a home through me you'll never hear a client say, "I couldn't get a hold of Day", or "Day wasn't thorough". It is very important to return all calls quickly, and to make my client feel secure in all parts of the transaction.

Who or what inspires you the most?
My Granny has always been my biggest inspiration. She has been a successful business woman for many years and I've always respected how she treats her clients with such honesty, and integrity. She is hard working and never expected something for free, she earned it!

What is the best advice you ever received?
When setting an expectation to a client always under promise and over deliver.

If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?
Las Vegas! I was born and raised here and I still LOVE IT!
