we have been using this agency for almost a year, i have a few complaints about the house that would be up to the owner to fix, but this house has needed alot of attention, the owners explained to me that this agency was fairly priced which is not easy to find in this area, i would trust them to take care of my own house, i would also recommend them as a "land lord" it is not a huge bussiness so they know who i am when i call and usually come right out, if needed they send another company but they always come check on us first, the person from luna luz that responds to our house is wonderful , my kids are crazy about him, infact they ask if he can come over for dinner, they also offered to work with us in the yard to clean out the asecia when we first moved in, so far plumbing has been the only big issue and the company they use for that sends the same plumber everytime, this man always has a treat for our dogs, he comes after hours if needed, and does not laugh at me when i tell him the water smells funny, when the owners retire i hope to rent another house from this same agency there was a bad review for them on citydifferent.com., the person who wrote the review did not use their services yet rated them very low as a long term tenent i do not see how someone could have a negative experience renting from them, we have had a couple of conflicts that were resolved on the spot, so maybe the low rating was over presonalities vs. actual business, i am thinking of moving and have talked to other management places today.........there is just no comparison i give luna luz 5 stars

Agent is spacey, not good at selling in down market, rude. Misses appointments, schedules showings at random times without informing owner.

His office staff can be quite rude and interrupts you frequently. There seems to be a total lack of concern, and they do not listen to you. The staff jumps down on you mid-sentence and acts like they know everything you may want to say. Customer service training and ACTIVE listening would greatly improve experience. I wish them nothing but the worst as they do not care about those who try to do business with them.

We purchased our home in October 2009 through a corporate relocation and Mary was the agent selling the home. She was very professional and was always ready to answer and questions and resolve any issues we had. We have move a number of time within the US and have never had a more positive and easy closing with the diligence and follow through of Mary McChesney. We met Mary when she was the selling agent in the home that we purchased almost five years ago in Santa Fe. Mary is wonderful, honest, and frankly a good person. Today, Mary is our friend. Furthermore, I believe that anyone that writes on blogs like this one and is unwilling to sign their name is suspect.

She in my opinion is AMATEUR. AVOID HER. She should seek another career.

We purchased a home using Mary McChesney as our agent. We moved from out of state and Mary handled all the details of the sale through the phone or e-mail. She is very professional and honest. We would not hesitate to use her in the future and would recommend her to our friends. She is extremely knowledgeable about the area and has been very helpful to us in getting settled in our new home. We have met many people who know Mary and have worked with her and they have only good things to say about her.

We moved from out of state which can be very difficult, our friends told us not to do it. Working with Mary made this potentially difficult move easy. She is a very honest person with high ethical standards. As far as communication with the client she is great, at times I wanted to say "just do it" because she gave me more information than I wanted. She has a great knowledge of the area and was very effective in dealing with the various people we had to work with. When she said she would do something she did it. McChesney is more than a RE Broker to the builder she represents. She is an undisclosed partner. (this was stated to the Eldorado Water and Sanitation District Manager and reporter for SF New Mexican, 8/29/2007). She also used her unethical strong arm tactics to force a closing with us. Before utilizing their services, verify complaints against the builder with NM Construction Industries Division, then RUN the other direction! We would never recommend her or her partner to anyone.

My friend is a real estate agent that works the Rio Rancho, NM area. Mary McChesney was working with a buyer in Santa Fe who contacted him to show them homes here in Rio Rancho. He advised this buyer that they needed a pre-approval letter or proof of funds prior to him showing her any property. Mary McChesney had no MLS access or knowledge of the Rio Rancho area but decided to take this buyer to Rio Rancho from Santa Fe to “look” at homes and wanted him to meet with her and this buyer. He (my friend) had his lender leave several messages with this buyer to find out her buying status and to get her pre-approved. Buyer never called back. My friend also informed the buyer that prior to meeting to look at homes, the buyer needed to get her pre-approved. My friend is a top agent and works with only qualified buyers as his sellers make it a REQUIREMENT that ONLY pre-approved buyers view their homes that he has listed. Meantime, Mary McChesney called him to meet them to spend the day driving this buyer around town “looking” at properties. He advised Mary that it was his policy and his sellers requirements that they will not show their home to unverified buyers. Mary McChesney called my friend at the end of the day and also called his associate at his office and rudely accused him of unethical treatment because he refused to work with them and drive them all over Rio Rancho looking at homes. Mary McChesney acted very unprofessional, unethical, & disrespectful. If you are a seller, be aware, this agent DOES NOT verify the credibility or buying ability of her buyers. If she brings you an offer, be aware of her not having a qualified buyer. I would hate to do a transaction with her, get to the closing table to find out her client was not approved. If you are a buyer, be aware of her wasting your time! I DO NOT RECOMMEND MARY MCCHESNEY!!

We were not convinced that she and David had a true knowledge of the marketplace. I think they just really wanted to sell us something. And by the way, I was uncomfortable when she tried to sell us her own home, even though it was no where near our criteria. Also, she does not live in the historic East side as her web site says..... She leaves East of Santa Fe but definitely not in the historic area! Sham!!!

Aysha Griffin and David Helling were a wealth of information. They know about construction, systems and neighborhood values and guided me throughout the process of determining what would work best for me. They were available to me and as a single woman, I feel I was in great hands and that they care about my well-being. Aysha has a great sense for tuning into what I wanted. After looking for just 2 days we found a house I love and we wrote a contract that was accepted. They diligently ensured everything was done right and on time. The process was smoother and easier than I expected. They made sure I had all the support I needed to move from out of state and introduced me to good people, even inviting me to their home for gatherings and checking in on me regularly. I feel extremely lucky to have met them through friends and couldn't be happier with the whole experience. This is the third home I've bought and by far the best experience. I love living in Santa Fe and they made it easy!

After being referred to Aysha and her partner David, we were very disappointed with their lack of professionalism and integrity. They made several mistakes in the handling of our deal including missing key contract dates, and they were very defensive and dismissive when we brought this to their attention. There are too many other realtors out there that really want the buyer to be happy, so we recommend you bypass GoRealty.

Leland did a wonderful job! He was very skilled and on point! When a problem arose with our financing he quickly came up with an alternative solution and we were able to get the house of our dreams!

I cannot recommend Philip and his colleague, Mark Banham, enough. Both worked together to not only find us an incredible home, but to introduce us to Santa Fe. You cannot go wrong with this Team!

We had a very bad experience with Ms. Johnston. She did not fairly represent us as the seller. Very disappointed.
