- I enjoy helping others make investment decisions. I'm truly passionate about mastering all aspects of commercial real estate. I am currently going back to school for two Commercial Real Estate designations and should have them completed soon.
- What is the most challenging issue you face as a Real Estate Professional?
- Performing a market analysis and attempting to predict the outcome of the cashflows in the future. There are so many variables, as a agent, you attempt to guide the client to the investment that makes the most sense for their level of risk and investment return.
- Tell us one of your client success stories or an interesting moment in your profession.
- There are many, however one of my most recent involves a consulting project where I was given the task to determine the investment value of two buildings if they were sold off to individual investors. The client was interested in knowing if the buildings should be sold as a pair, or separately and what would affect the potential sales price and future cash flows.
- What is your best characteristic?
- I'd say my motivation. I am determined to continue to become more successful in commercial real estate, and have been aggressive in my path to achieve results. Despite the tough economy, I have not given up servicing my clients to the best of my ability.
- Who or what inspires you the most?
- I'm inspired by the thrill of the deal. The excitement the client experiences when the deal is done, and they are happy with their investment. If both sides are not happy after a transaction, I did not do my job. I am inspired to make sure both sides come out satisfied with the transaction.
- What is the best advice you ever received?
- The best advice I was ever given was by a client who said "media is the message", which means for example, if you are working on a million dollar property and you have a one page flyer with one photo and no details, you are not delivering the message to your client or a prospect. You need to do your homework, diligence and make sure that the marketing and message fit will with what you are selling/marketing. Make sense? I live by it daily.
- If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?
- Good question, I would love to live in france, italy, or perhaps japan. I love architecture and city life.
