It is too bad he keeps boosting his own score with those stars, because I feel that people should have access to an accurate realtor review site. I only posted a review of our bad experience because, had I realized what a deceitful agent John is, I would have never used him, and I wanted to give someone else that courtesy. I am certainly not looking for a verbal bashing contest or to berate him. I do not blame him for not selling our house, especially not in this market; however, he knows that he lied to us on more than one occassion, and he did in fact cost us time, energy, and money. The fact that he thinks "honesty and integrity" are his best characteristics is a joke. Now that he has called me crazy and psychotic, I can only respond once again by saying beware of him an find another agent."

A seller’s particular psychosis is cannot to be forced upon the consumer that will usually make appointments for one day in an area to see homes.
Numerous put off's to a buyer become discouraging, Reducing interest in the property by consumers and Realtors alike. Most buyers interested in a property will call an agent for a showing, sometimes days in advance, sometimes within an hour. If you are truly interested in selling your home, you need to be battle ready at all times. To be clear, that means be ready in an instant. If you choose the method of a 24 advance notice, come back tomorrow, next week, then you should be able to deal with the possibility of NOT selling your home as fast as you would like to. "

I received one of John's mailings during the economic down-turn. I was planning to move from NJ just as the market was tanking. I needed to either sell or rent my home despite the market. Long story short, I called and immediately hired John. He went WAY above and beyond what was required. He screened all rental applicants and picked the RIGHT renter. When he got the listing, I knew all of the places he advertised and I didn't have to chase him down for information. Our county is continuously growing with the construction of new housing developments as well as business growth.
Why do you enjoy being a real estate agent?
I enjoy the client interaction and changing scenery of Real Estate. I tend to generate healthy relationships with my clients, buyer or seller, to have a firm understading of their goals. I set out to exceed all expectations and develop a lifelong business relationship and more often than not, a friendship as well.
What is the most challenging issue you face as a Real Estate Professional?
Negative press from the mainstream media about real estate home sales. Many buyers take statistical information out of context and do not realize that the market 30 miles outside of NYC has not changed as much as slower, over developed markets like Ohio and Atlanta.

What is your best characteristic?
Honesty and Integrity.
Who or what inspires you the most?
I am inspired by the fact that I work in an area saturated with realtors. This keeps me sharp, and drives me to set myself aside from my competition.
What is the best advice you ever received?
Think Big. Big Risks = Big Rewards.
Walk directly to the top and do not tip toe around while you are there and bow out with all your marbles intact.
If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?
New York. I moved from NY to New Jersey. NJ is Great, but there is no place like Brooklyn, New York.
