We actually met Elisa through one of the properties she spas selling. Unfortunately the place still had knob & tube electric and we didn't want to deal with that... Elisa Dewees is a very professional and personable realtor. When I first started the house shopping experience, I had so many ideals about what to expect from what I was told by people who had already gone through the home shopping and buying process. A different kind of Realtor
We put our house up for sale in the middle of a terrible seller’s market. In addition to that there were also twelve other homes up for sale in our complex. Our home made #13. We were not expecting miracles, and truth be told, we were prepared for it being on the market for a year. We liked Elisa and Dave as soon as we met them. What impressed us the most initially was their sincerity, honesty about the market, and the fact that they struck us as just “regular people”. There was an immediate feeling of comfort in their personalities and also knowledge of the market. The next thing that impressed us was the extensive exposure that we received on the Internet. Elisa excels in this area and the exposure that she got for our home far exceeds what others in the industry do. Elisa's strategic thinking helped us sell our house at a great price during the current buyers market. She helped us with a great pricing strategy, showcasing the house so that potential buyers would fall in love with it, and then getting the word out. We were able to get 2 bids within the first weekend, and that definitely helped in getting a settlement price that was very close to our asking. I want to sing the praises of my real estate agent Elisa Dewees. I was so fortunate to have lucked out and find her at a very stressful time for me. I am a senior citizen who - due to the present economy, had her former home of 16 years on the market for over a year. I finally sold my home in Ocean City NJ and happily, by chance, on the Internet found Elisa Dewees of ReMax in Moorestown, NJ to help me find a new place to live. She found just the place I wanted in an "over 55" community in Cherry Hill, near to my daughter. I was so excited and put money down on the condo located there. The Closing in Ocean City was to be in October with move-in at the Cherry Hill residence in November. WELL, just days before the Closing, my buyers backed out. Consequently, I had to let Elisa Dewees know, so that she could notify the Seller of the Cherry Hill condo that my deal in Ocean City didn't go through. Elisa was calm and supportive throughout the craziness that ensued. Fortunately, I sold my house again a few weeks later, and the Seller in Cherry Hill was amenable to the changes. However, this posed new problems because then, the Closings and moving dates on both places were on the same day during this past Christmas week, AND just a day after the huge blizzard then. With many roads closed we didn't know if the Closings for both properties could even take place (they were located over an hour away from one another), and further, if the moving van could move me out and in!!! Elisa Dewees got me through all of those anxious times. She was professional, understanding and kind. She is a person who obviously really cares about people and her job. Additionally along the way, she sent me all the information which I had to know about physically moving, legal matters, things I should attend to, info about contacting utilities, etc. She put up with my very picky lawyer on the phone in a manner that I later commended her for- "All's well that ends well", and at the final bell with all the trials and tribulations along the way, everything worked out perfectly and happily, thanks to Elisa Dewees. She covered all my bases. Any person that uses her as their Real Estate Agent is in for a treat.

Elisa is the best realtor ever! She helped my wife and me with buying our first home which was not an easy task! It took a lot longer than we thought due to some uncontrollable circumstances, but Elisa stuck with us. When it was all said and done we looked at over 50 houses and went through 3 contracts before we finally got the house we wanted and even that was a large task to get through. I stumbled upon realtor, Elisa Dewees after 1.5 years of working with another agent to assist me with the Short Sale of my home. I was very apprehensive about establishing a business relationship with another realtor, but my circumstances (pending foreclosure) did not allow me to give up so easily. Complicating matters further, as an out-of-state resident, I really needed to be able to trust whomever I hired to assist me. Feeling ill-advised, misguided with false information from the previous realtor experience, I contacted Elisa, and was rather frank about my expectations. She readily received my concerns and expectations,and empathized with me.
