Anna Marie worked with us over several months as we explored buying a house at the beach. She was great at educating us on the market and showing us all the different properties we wanted to see in various settings, be it ocean front, ocean side or canal front. She was very knowledgeable regarding all types of transactions including foreclosures and short sales. We ended up purchasing a lot on which to build a home and of course she was able to guide us through that process as well. Our questions were always answered promptly. We had some unusual issues with the closing process and she was able to guide us through the process and expedite it as well. Without her assistance we may not have been able to make the purchase. We wholeheartedly recommend her and hope to have the opportunity to work with her again.

I am a local, Disabled Veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom that recently submitted an application for a rental property Mr. Jones ownes in Durham, NC. Throughout the process, communication with Reggie became very difficult, with him not returning phone calls or emails. While I was out of the state on business, I had my girlfriend whom would be living with me communicating with Reggie. He showed her the property and took the application for rental. At that time we both had inquired about a possible move-in date as we are expecting a baby very soon. Reggie stated that a repair needed to be made. After a week of me not being able to get return calls or emails from Reggie, I had my girlfriend contact him again. He explained to her that he was waiting on a Inspector to inspect the property before move-in and not to worry, that "we were on top of his list for possible renters". As the days followed, I continually emailed Reggie inquiring about the property and a move-in date, as our baby was now rapidly approaching. While waiting on a status update from Mr. Jones, we missed other housing opportunties where our application was accepted as well. Due to Mr. Jones' inability to communicate effectively, he has violated Durham's Equal Housing Opportunty for Disabled Veteran's. In addition, his ethics and morals are in question as he led myself and my girlfriend along to believe that we were waiting for a move-in date. To my surprise, I recently discovered that the house was being rented even during times of communication with Mr. Jones.

We had the good fortune to work with Lin Kelly while we were looking for a condo to buy in the Crow Creek community of Calabash. Lin was extremely professional and went out of her way to assist us in any way that she could. We had quite a time with a failed short sale, but Lin hung in there for us and eventually found an even better condo for us in the end. All of our e-mails and phone calls (and there were plenty of them) were answered promptly including those on weekends and holidays. Lin even let us know when she would be out of town and how we could contact her if needed then. Have you ever heard of a realtor who would pay a fee for you? Lin did and we greatly appreciated it!! One could not ask for a better realtor and we would highly recommend Lin to anyone in the real estate market.
