Are there any new developments or trends in your area?
The top end of the market has slowed (hence the drop in median price)
Dec & Jan # of sales off by 20% (from a record year). Activity & interest have picked up in February. It looks as though # of buyers will remain within range of last 2-3 years. But inventory has gone from 8 months to 24!
Why do you enjoy being a real estate agent?
I DO! When I do my job the following folks are happy: the buyer, the seller, my wife, the other agent, the attorney, the insurance folks, the home inspector, pest inspector, mortgage folks, all their employees, and sometimes the surveyor, builder, repair folks, etc.

What is the most challenging issue you face as a Real Estate Professional?
In this environment, nursing the deal all the way to closing. Every loan is a challenge right now because everyone in the process is afraid of making a mistake.

Being part of a client reaching their goal of transitioning from "corporate America" to full time real estate investing. We started working together right after I got in the business, and he "took his job & shoved it" almost 2 years ago. His 2 year old thinks I'm part of the family because I've been around all his life!
What is your best characteristic?
Creative application of knowledge.
Who or what inspires you the most?
The general good-heartedness and caring nature of the vast majority of people I meet.

Two words in marriage - "Yes Dear"
If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?
I think I'm there! Winston-Salem NC!
Love to travel, but this is a great place to come home to! If I won a free house anywhere but here, it would be a tough choice between Maui & St. Maarten.
