With my relunctance to purchase a home, Alexis stepped up and said "I will find your dream home". She not only found the house of my dreams but, kept under my budget by $15,000. Alexis' professionalism and calm demeaner was evident during the entire process. She has my vote for "BEST AGENT". She has earned my respect and I highly recommend her! How many years have you been in Real Estate?
I have been practicing real estate since August of 2006.
What is the average home price in your market?
The average home price in the Jacksonville market in 2008, thus far, is approximately $216,000.
Are there any new developments or trends in your area?
The most common trend in our area is for 3+ bedroom, 2+ bathroom homes in the $150,000 price range.
Why do you enjoy being a real estate agent?
First of all, I love houses. I first became interested in real estate when I was purchasing my own home. Since I have become a real estate agent, my love for the industry has only grown. I also feel like I am doing something important. Purchasing a home is a big step for any family, and I am grateful if I can help someone have a positive home buying or selling experience.
What is the most challenging issue you face as a Real Estate Professional?
I find it can sometimes be a challenge to overcome some of the negative misconceptions that people have about real estate agents. To overcome that, I just try to show my clients that my priority is to them, and to finding them a home that they love.
Tell us one of your client success stories or an interesting moment in your profession.
One of my clients was the wife of a Marine, and she was trying to purchase a home for the two of them while he was overseas in Iraq. It was a little more difficult because of the extra paperwork required, and it was more stressful for her because her husband wasn't here. But, once we got her closed, and she was able to move into their new home, she was so happy and grateful for my help. It was one of the most rewarding transactions I've had.
What is your best characteristic?
I'm outgoing, genuine and very open. I believe that those qualities help me to build a relationship of trust with my clients.
Who or what inspires you the most?
My family inspires me to perform to the best of my ability.
What is the best advice you ever received?
"Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough problems of its own."
-Matthew 6:34
If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?
I was a Navy brat growing up and spent a year living in Italy. I would move back there just for the food!
