What year did you become a real estate agent?
The agent has not answered this question.
How many years have you been in Real Estate?
I've practiced Real Estate Brokerage for three years.
What is the average home price in your market?
Homes in this area average $350,000.
Are there any new developments or trends in your area?
There are many new developments in the Denver/Lake Norman area, as well as in the surrounding towns and cities.
Why do you enjoy being a real estate agent?
I enjoy helping Buyers and Sellers realize their dreams, with as little stress and complication as possible. My experience with the different situations that can arise helps to take some of the uncertainty out of the process for my clients. It gives me a lot of pleasure knowing I've helped a client.
What is the most challenging issue you face as a Real Estate Professional?
There are many unexpected issues that can arise when buying or selling a home. Helping my clients focus on the resolution to those issues, while remaining calm and level headed, is probably one of the most challenging situations I must deal with. People are very emotional when it comes to buying and selling a home. One aspect of my job is to help them make sound decisions with as little emotion involved as possible.
Tell us one of your client success stories or an interesting moment in your profession.
There is nothing more gratifying than helping a family who has never owned a home be able to find that first home, obtain reasonable financing, and watch them beam with pride as they move in. Just as important is assisting the seller who wants to take the next step to a larger home realize his dream by putting his home on the market and bringing him a buyer at the price he expected.
What is your best characteristic?
My best characteristic is the ability to listen to what my clients have to say. You can't help someone if you don't know what kind of help they need.
Who or what inspires you the most?
I am inspired by doing a good job for my clients and ultimately becoming their friend. The relationship between a Realtor and their clients becomes very entwined. I don't feel I can work as closely as is necessary if we're not on a friendly basis.
What is the best advice you ever received?
Be honest. Real estate is very challenging. If you're not honest with yourself and your clients, it will catch up with you, one way or another. Treat your clients as you would like to be treated.
If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?
I'm happy right here in Denver, NC. However, I do lean towards warm weather climates. If I could live somewhere tropical and have my family closeby, that's probably what I would do.
