Thank you for taking the time to learn more about my background and the services I provide. I grew up in the Olde Providence neighborhood off of Rea Rd in Charlotte. I attended Olde Providence Elementary, Carmel Jr. High (now known as Carmel Middle School) and South Mecklenburg High School. I now live in the Berkeley neighborhood in south Charlotte--only a few miles from where I grew up.
I have been active in the Charlotte real estate market since 1996 (13 years at this writing). I concentraite on the neighborhood in which I live. The primary reason we chose Berkeley is the outstanding schools that Berkeley children are assigned to: Providence Spring Elementary (earned the 2008 National Blue Ribbon School award), J.M. Robinson Middle School, and Providence High School. So, if having your children attending the three best schools CMS has to offer is a priority please call or email me for more information.
Respectfully,
Robert Stanley

What year did you become a real estate agent?
1996
How many years have you been in Real Estate?
13
What is the average home price in your market?
$450,000
Are there any new developments or trends in your area?
Providence Spring Elementary was awarded the 2008 Blue Ribbon School Award. The highest award a school can achieve--PSE was in the top 1% of North Carolina Public & Private schools and top 10% of the nation!
Why do you enjoy being a real estate agent?
It is rewarding to know that I can guide my clients through what potentially is one of life's most stressful endeavors with the confidence and professionalism that results in a smooth and seamless transaction.
What is the most challenging issue you face as a Real Estate Professional?
I am challenged by doing my part to protect homeowner’s rights. I’m involved with several organizations that monitor county, state, and national governments and rally against legislation that would hurt the American homebuyer such as transfer taxes and repeal of interest deductions.
Tell us one of your client success stories or an interesting moment in your profession.
It would not be fair to say there is one particular success story that stands out--but I will say the having continuing friendships and business relationships with past clients is rewarding--and it validates my philosophy that excellence in service and work ethic is preferred over someone with a great "salesman" personality but who is unprepared and concerned only with earning a commission 99% of the time.
What is your best characteristic?
Ethical above all else.
Who or what inspires you the most?
God, family, and business.
What is the best advice you ever received?
My father once said, "Son, you better figure out to get out in the world and find something you love to do--and do it better than anyone else". I strive to meet that challenge daily!!!
If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?
As long as I had my family with me I could be happy just about anywhere. But one day I wouldn't mind living in Montana for a few years!!!
