Are there any new developments or trends in your area?
The Charlotte area is one of the few real estate markets enjoying positive growth in just about any measure right now. We have many new residential and mixed-use developments in the area at all price ranges, plus lots of established neighborhoods with good buys for anyone. There are also opportunities for commercial and investment real estate in this market.
Why do you enjoy being a real estate agent?
We are real estate consultants. We focus on creating the best possible outcome for our clients. Personally, I have always liked meeting new people, and have always been motivated by being able to help other people reach their goals. I find a lot of satisfaction in helping clients achieve their real estate objectives over the long term.
What is the most challenging issue you face as a Real Estate Professional?
Managing my time and my team's resources to make sure each client is served in the best way possible.
Tell us one of your client success stories or an interesting moment in your profession.
I am most proud of the fact that I have several long-term clients who, although they have lots of real estate knowledge and experience themselves, value my judgement and trust me to handle their transactions.
What is your best characteristic?
In my first career, engineering, I learned how to find out whatever I needed to know to accomplish the task at hand. That capability has served me well in real estate, since every client has specific needs, and every transaction is different.
Who or what inspires you the most?
My clients inspire me. In our business, we work all types of people. I am always inspired by people who have a dream or a goal and keep working until they achieve it.
What is the best advice you ever received?
Someone told me early in this career that agents have only two things to offer to clients - knowledge and service. We strive to deliver excellence on both those counts.
If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?
Right where I am! All the benefits of a growing and vibrant metropolitan area, plenty of natural beauty and friendly people are to be found here.
