3

Are there any new developments or trends in your area?
The greater Raleigh area has been on an upswing. Our housing is undervalued when compared to other cities that offer what this area has to offer. We have people moving here from all over the US. Watching the growth in this area is exciting. Plenty of new developments exist in each of the various areas I cover. Anyone is welcome to call me for more information on what's happening in Raleigh, Cary, Apex, Morrisville, Holly Springs, Garner, Fuquay Varina, Wake Forest or any of the other surrounding communities.
Why do you enjoy being a real estate agent?
I truly derive enjoyment from helping people find the best home for them at the best price for them. I love looking at real estate so showing houses to me is great fun. Mostly I love when my clients tell me how happy they are with their new home once they have settled in. Those calls to thank me after a few months mean more to me than anything!
What is the most challenging issue you face as a Real Estate Professional?
Making sure that each client feels as though they are my only client!
Tell us one of your client success stories or an interesting moment in your profession.
I was contacted by a gentleman who had gotten my phone # from a listing sign. The house was not in his price range. He was frantically looking for a home to purchase and close on within 3 weeks. Otherwise, he would have to rent for at least 6 months as his pregnant wife was due to move here from out of state with his 2 year old. He was at a new job and couldn't take any time off to look. I showed him houses and areas after work each day. We were able to find his dream home within a few days and close on the house prior to his wife's arrival. She loved the choice of the house and the area. I speak to them every few months and they still thank me for finding the perfect home so quickly!
What is your best characteristic?
My clients say it is my patience. I think it is my ability to forsee issues and negotiate offers.
Who or what inspires you the most?
My family inspires me the most. They believe in me, are there for me, and allow me to work those crazy hours!
What is the best advice you ever received?
Knowing that even one life has breathed easier because I have lived is success.
If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?
Having lived in 7 states for at least a year or more I know that Raleigh NC is where I would most like to live! Southern California is my second choice.
