In 2005, I was working with a first time homebuyer looking for her dream home. This was a time when homes sold very fast with multiple offers. My buyer and I looked at dozens of homes. One day, a home came on the market that I thought was perfect for her. I called her, within an hour we looked at it and went under contract. When we went back later that night to show her husband the home they were buying, there were 17 agent's cards on the counter. My buyer saw that and did what I now call the happy dance. Today they are enjoying that home with their new baby. That's why I love selling real estate.
