I purchased a lot through Martha Lowe, it was the worst real estate transaction of my life. One year after purchasing the lot, I built a home on it through a builder I found on my own. Ms. Lowe was completely uninvolved in this aspect. She then went on to sue ME, her CLIENT, for three percent of the value of my own home for a commission for her! This individual has no values or morals. Do yourself a favor--steer clear!

Avian chose the absolute best houses for us to see in our quest for a cute cottage near/in Asheville. She paid attention to our wants and needs and we found a house that was perfect for our family. Our closing went perfectly due to Avian's experience and contacts!

Russell failed in completing contracts and forms correctly; taking steps to maintain timelines. making honest representations; doing what was promised; fiduciary responsibility; not putting ill at ease the buyer, solving problems without causing more problems or creating ill will between the parties, etc. Using these benchmarks, my experience is that Joan Russell / Russell Properties was a complete failure on all counts. I was put upon numerous times to run errands for Russell. Promises and representations of items to be completed were diminished down to, "those weren't promises, I was doing you a favor." Russell cashed checks early and before the contracts were signed. Rather than an apology, I received lectures on her company policies. MY CONTRACTS WERE SO WRONG, THEY WERE INVALID. The other party has to have all of the forms reviewed and ratified again. STAY AWAY. She is dishonest and inept.

Bruce A. Linton is one of the best real estate agents in the Asheville market. He's a 9.5 on a one to ten. Call him up.

When I think about my experience with the purchase of my home in Asheville, I have to say that it was made much easier due to the professionalism, honesty, attention to detail, knowledge, and ease of contact over the phone and in person provided my Rob Steingress. I mean the guy actually cared about me and my situation and helped me by keeping me informed about what was happening. On a professional level he called me answering questions, questions which I had not even considered about my purchase, prior to my purchase. As a result of all this, on a personal level I would have to consider Rob one of the people in this town that I would call a friend. As as framing company, we network with many local Asheville Builders including Abandre.com, and several other investor companies in the Asheville North Carolina. He's organized, efficient, goal-oriented, and funny! We truly enjoyed working with him and recommend him without reservation.

I could not ask for a better experience. She went above and beyond what was expected of her in the purchase of my new home.
