Jeff rocks!!! Our first home purchase was everything we ever dreamed it could be. We love our home - the one Jeff encouraged us to keep looking for even when we were ready to make an offer on the second house we viewed. I can't imagine anyone having anything negative to say about truly one of the nicest people we've ever worked with.
Honest to a fault
I can't imagine having worked with a more honest individual. Extra money we later learned (not from Jeff) that Jeff could have taken as commission in the transaction and we would have never known - Jeff has the title company credit towards our closing costs. Although this isn't something he ever told us about - we found out and want every one to know. He also gave the best service we've ever experienced when purchasing a home. He always made himself available when we needed him, and his service was thorough and very professional. We would definitely use Jeff again!!!

He didn't bring one client
He didn't bring one client, and when we met him, he bragged that his average for selling a home was in 29 days. It's been months, and our home is in the same price range as around us, and all he can do is tell us to lower the price. Rather than bring clients and then negotiate price. The picture on the mls that he had of our condo wasn't even ours. Shows you how much he really put into it!

Interviewed dozens of agents. Picked Jeff even after reading the negative review by C. Gutzman, who shouldn't have been surprised that things didn't work out in byp****ing the seller's agent. Likely, all that happened was a better offer was already on the table unbeknownst to the seller. It seems to me that not knowing how to buy real estate is really the only thing that upset Mr. Gutzman. His review says more about him than anything about Jeff Earl as an agent. In my opinion, Gutzman's review should be deleted because none of its facts actually support his extraordinary claim. Mr. Gutzman tried to cut an inside deal, failed, and got upset. Meanwhile, Jeff Earl was simply doing his job. That's the only thing I get from it. Thanks again, Jeff! Keep up the good work! :-)
Unethical and dishonest
Do not trust Jeff Earl. After discussing my counter-offer with the owner(who he is related to, but failed to mention) he verbally accepted my offer. He then ignored phone calls over the next few days, finally leaving a voice-mail notifying us that over the weekend somebody else had approached the buyer with an offer above the asking price and that they were sorry, but they "would be going a different direction." It was extremely disheartening to go through such a range of emotions from excitement to severe let-down. I didn't realize how bad buying my own home could be. Jeff Earl completely soured my first experience and I will be sure to never have any dealings with him again.
