I wanted to correct what I wrote on Oct. 5, 2009. The maintenance issues (leaky ceiling and bugs) were taken care of by the property management company which is responsible for maintenance. Rocco Erker Realty (the leasing firm) let the maintenance company know about the issues quickly, and the leak was fixed within a week. And I haven't seen any bugs for months. I think that was an issue with the former tenant. Furthermore, I needed to move out earlier than my lease allowed to a different rental that allows pets. Rocco Erker Realty has been exceedingly helpful with my situation and offered to help me find someone take over the lease, which is rare in this city.

I agree with the other reviews. My apartment had roaches when I moved in, and within months a severe leak developed in my bedroom -- coming through the ceiling fan's WIRING. Two months later, nothing was fixed, and it's getting worse.

Terrible experience with this landlord and his agency. Apartment was filthy, disgusting (mice and roaches). Landlord was rude, slow to respond to maintenance requests. Maintenance workers would show up and enter apartment unannounced. Landlord cursed at several people I know who previously lived in apartment building. Absolutely avoid.

If you want a hot-headed realtor with no self-control or common sense, this is the guy for you.
