What year did you become a real estate agent?
1997
How many years have you been in Real Estate?
I have been a licensed Realtor since December, 1997.
What is the average home price in your market?
The average home price in the Saint Louis metropolitan area is $161,925.
Are there any new developments or trends in your area?
There are several new developments throughout the area. The revitalization of the Saint Louis downtown area includes a new major league baseball stadium and constuction will soon begin on a "ball park city" to include shopping, restaurants, and residential living. Additionally, more "neighborhoods" are being developed, which includes neighborhood stores, libraries, and community club houses/centres all within walking distance of neighborhood residents.
Why do you enjoy being a real estate agent?
I enjoy being a Realtor because it's one of a few professions where you have a part in affecting a positive transistion in someone's life. It's very rewarding to assist someone in selling and purchasing a home.
What is the most challenging issue you face as a Real Estate Professional?
As a Realtor, the most challenging issues occurs if communication is lacking between myself and any other professional involed in a client's real estate transaction.
Tell us one of your client success stories or an interesting moment in your profession.

What is your best characteristic?
My best characteristic is my ability to communicate, because in this business for a deal to close you must depend on multiple people. Each person, from myself as the realtor, to the loan processor, has a role in affecting the client. If I don't know how to communicate with each person that affects the client, then that could lead to problems in closing the real estate transaction.
Who or what inspires you the most?
My children inspire me. Children see the positive. As adults, we know the world is chaotic but in the chaos of this world, the laughter or smile of a child can make the chaos seem trivial.
What is the best advice you ever received?
My grandmother always said, you're never too old to learn, or begin a new adventure. She always pushed us to do the things we thought were impossible. It taught us anything is achievable.
If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?
My retirement plan is to live all over the world!
