"We worked with Ms. Brown to rent an apartment in St. Louis when we moved back to the U.S. from overseas and were unable to view apartments in person. We were promised that in the basement of the complex, there were washer/dryer hookups and ample storage space. Ms. Brown was impossible to reach by phone, never returned messages and didn't respond to e-mails in a timely manner. Upon our arrival at the apartment, we discovered that the yard, hallways and staircases were full of trash and other debris from other tenants. The basement was another story entirely--it was floor-to-ceiling dirt, trash, broken furniture and (disturbingly) chicken feathers and dog feces. Additionally, there were NO washer/dryer hookups for us. We did not move into the apartment, which was a health and fire hazard. Another agent helped us with the situation, as Ms. Brown was nowhere to be found. Because of the great help we received from the other agent, I would recommend this company to others-just not Ms. Brown."
