I have enjoyed sharing the last 9 years with my family and friends in Columbia, MO. I love real estate. Even during tough times, this is a job I truly enjoy. Each year about 50% of my clients are those relocating to Columbia from out of state. I also enjoying assisting sellers to move up or out of Columbia. One aspect of this position that I strive to excel in is education. I enjoy educating sellers on strategic selling tactics and assisting buyers in the knowledge of market conditions. Above all though is the relationship I forge with my clients. This job is really all about you. About what you need, what works for your family, what price range you are comfortable with. Are there any new developments or trends in your area?
People seem to be looking for more practical but perfect homes. They don't have to be fancy but just well kept with no maintenance needed to move in.

Why do you enjoy being a real estate agent?
I really enjoy the challenge of finding the right home for the right price for my clients. I love working with people

What is the most challenging issue you face as a Real Estate Professional?
The hardest part of the job is probably trying to keep all parties on the same page, seller, buyer, title company, lender, inspector, etc.

Tell us one of your client success stories or an interesting moment in your profession.
I met a couple through a random e-mail I sent. They were from Alaska and wanted to move to someplace with 4 seasons. They knew no one in Missouri. I found them a house -- they decided not to move at that point. I rented the house for them. A year later I helped them buy a gas station in another town in Missouri so they could start their own business, then helped them to buy another house. They have become close friends and are wonderful to be around.

What is your best characteristic?
I'm very down to earth. People say that what you see is what you get. I'm just straight up.

The agent has not answered this question.

What is the best advice you ever received?
Always look forward

If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?
In a fantasy world I would live in Hawaii, but love Columbia because of the size and my family is here.
