I am entering my 6th year as a Realtor and have been ranked in the top 5% of all Prudential Realtors

What is the average home price in your market?
The overall Twin Cities average is around $200,000 but prices vary significantly througout our area.

Are there any new developments or trends in your area?
There are many new developments in the Twin Cities and the recent trend has been the surplus of homes relative to current demand that has resulted in the much talked about buyer's market.

Why do you enjoy being a real estate agent?
Our culture continues to expect "more" out of every element of our lives so I suppose I enjoy the feeling that I add "more" by bringing true value to the process through the experience I have accumulated in the last 8 years in real estate and the 5 years of sales and marketing experience I attained before entering the real estate market.

What is the most challenging issue you face as a Real Estate Professional?
Lately the struggle has been matching seller expectations with the realty of today's buyer's market. However, the market is beginning to turn around...

Tell us one of your client success stories or an interesting moment in your profession.
I have a sales, marketing, advertising and promotions background and therefore take the position that realtors are marketers first and are in our position to not only guide our seller clients through the process but to add value in presenting the homes we list in the most favorable light possible and to ensure that the home is listed and enhanced on every website possible because that's where the buyers are today. So I suppose some success stories would be the homes that I have recently listed that have sold in 30 days or less even in this buyer's market.

What is your best characteristic?
I suppose I would say that my greatest abilities are that I can juggle many balls in the air at once and that I constantly put myself in my client's position so that I can make sure to meet their needs and exceed their expectations.

Who or what inspires you the most?
I am most inspired by the fact that no two transactions are ever the same, so my life is never boring! Working with every new buyer or seller is a unique experience and I believe that I have been able to be successful because I have come to the realization that while there are often used tools and common steps in the process, every client needs and deserves personalized service and every chance to go the extra mile is an opportunity to prove your worth and earn a referral.

What is the best advice you ever received?
I believe the best real estate advice I ever received is that as a Realtor, I need to "be the source behind the source". In other words, don't give an answer for which you may not be qualified to give, but instead offer the opinion/service of someone you and your client believe is. The best personal advice I ever received was the idea of "balance" and that means something different for everyone.

If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?
I have done my fair share of traveling but I have to admit I love living here in the Twin Cities. However, I might have a different answer around February each year. :)
