What year did you become a real estate agent?
1998
How many years have you been in Real Estate?
I have been a licensed Realtor for over 10 years.
What is the average home price in your market?
$400,000 - $500,000
Are there any new developments or trends in your area?
Repos and super low prices.
Why do you enjoy being a real estate agent?
I have been involved in construction remodeling projects since high school. I was a volunteer for Youth for Christ (YFC) in Michigan to remodel hostels for unwed mothers. More recently my interest in real estate was cultivated by the rise in the cost of home ownership and wanted to make a difference in this community by providing excellent representation.
What is the most challenging issue you face as a Real Estate Professional?
Many do not know the pitfalls of purchasing or selling real estate as I have had to learn by experience, and I want to help prevent buyers and sellers from going through the worse nightmare of their life! For many, the investment of their home is the largest investment into their retirement and I want to help them protect and increase that investment by sound and wise decisions that take them into the future without regrets. Knowing market trends and staying in touch with the housing market helps me advise my clients to maximize their home investment throughout their lifetime. Between the administrative skills of my wife who is also a Realtor and my negotiating abilities, our knowledge of the industry, and our ability to please our clients in way we do business, I believe we can make the constant changing process of home ownership more profitable, enjoyable and rewarding and a growing investment into the future.
Tell us one of your client success stories or an interesting moment in your profession.
I was able to find a home that someone I was working with could rent and then later buy after they sold their home in another state. It was good to get them into a home but limit their risks in the process.

Encouragement.
Who or what inspires you the most?
The Bible.

Love others as yourself.
If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?
Holland Michigan on the lake.
