Freedom and the joy of working with and helping people achieve their real estate ownership dreams! My clients apprecaiate working with a professional that puts their interest's and concerns first in the real estate transaction!
What is the most challenging issue you face as a Real Estate Professional?
Today it is selling current homes so they can purchase their next home.
Tell us one of your client success stories or an interesting moment in your profession.
There have been so many, like Easter 30 years ago when I sold 3 houses, but the one that comes to mind is a client where I have represented many members of their family. I had sold their home and was trying to find heir new home. I was with my wife (my wife owns a pet boarding business) when we were picking up a cat. This owner's home was for sale... I said ... I have a friend that may be interested .. the owner gave me a tour.. and the rest as they say is history. My clients purchased their home. There is nothing like being at the right place at the right time!
What is your best characteristic?
From a sales perspective their is no substitute for being a good listener. I have had the uncanny ability to empathize i.e. put myself in my clients "shoes". I feel what they feel.
Who or what inspires you the most?
My wife is my inspiration.. she never let's me get down .. she is the hardest worker I know and is the best people person I know!
What is the best advice you ever received?
Never dwell on the negative.. focus on the positive... in baseball, if you played for 20 years in the Majors and Only got a hit 30% of the time, you would be in the Hall of Fame! Everyone thinks you have to success 100% of the time.. when in actuality you "strike-out" more times than you get a hit. 30% success ratio and your in the hall of fame.. I'll take that any day!
If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?
There are many places that I could live and be very content but there is only one home and that is in Minnesota.
