- Why do you enjoy being a real estate agent?
- I enjoy helping people attain their dreams and advising them on how to manage one of the biggest assets they have, their home. I don't just want to sell someone's home, I want them to call me anytime they have questions about real estate and how their home and financing fits into their plans for the rest of their life.
- What is the most challenging issue you face as a Real Estate Professional?
- Helping people understand the current market and helping them make wise choices concerning the sale and purchase of homes.
- Tell us one of your client success stories or an interesting moment in your profession.
- I have closed hundreds of transactions and had many interesting moments and success stories. Anytime someone calls me because they want me to work with a friend or relative, I consider that a huge success. That means they truly trust me and know that I'll do a good job for someone else they know.
- What is your best characteristic?
- Stubborn determination. The majority of the time transactions go smoothly and there aren't too many problems. Any Realtor can look competent when the going is easy. I think what really defines people is how they act when the going gets a little tougher. I have had many transactions that ran into problems at some point that still closed just because I wouldn't give up on them.
- Who or what inspires you the most?
- I have many clients from many walks of life. There are easy transactions and very complex and sometimes difficult ones. Things don't always turn out the way I want them too. When I get calls from clients after the transaction is complete with questions, to refer their friends and family to me, or just to say hi, I know they trust me and I did a good job for them. That is what I strive for.
- What is the best advice you ever received?
- You can achieve anything you can truly believe in. All you need to do is really believe you can do it and never give up.
- If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?
- I have lived in this area almost my entire life. I grew up in Ramsey and currently live in Coon Rapids. I think I would rather live here than anywhere else in the world, although a tropical island would be nice from time to time.
