Hello Kelley, My name is Kevin Cassidy. I own the home next door to your property, 2167 Woodbridge Way. My wife and I and our daughter took ownership in April 2009. I would like to be able to talk with you about a couple concerns with your rental property. 1. The retaining wall between our properties as you probably know belongs to you. Unfortunately in the two years I have lived in my home the wall is progressively getting worse and is bowing towards my house and is becoming very unstable at certain parts. As I mentioned I have a daughter, 2 1/2 years now and a 7 month. I have safety concerns regarding the wall not only for my children but for my nieces that frequently come over to play as well as the neighborhood children. This wall is made up of large bricks that can cause serious injury if not worse if it should fall on a child playing on my property. I have had many comments that the wall is dangerous and should be replaced. I believe this to be accurate and would very much like to discuss with you. 2. There are currently renters in the house, young kids in their 20's. We have had many problems with them and the police have shown up many times there. Additionally they are not maintaining the property, the grass in the front and back yards are will over a foot now as well as over 3 feet between our properties which will be a breeding ground for rodents. As a home owner I take great pride in my property and home as well as does the rest of the neighborhood. I am not sure who the property management is for you but the lack of enforcement of the renters maintaining the property has made the house an eye sore in the neighborhood. Your rental property is surrounded with young kids on every side, front and back. No one wants to live next to an eye sore or run down property. Additionally, I again do not know what your property management informs you about on this particular rental but the roof is also rotted and there are several large areas that are missing shingles.
