- Why do you enjoy being a real estate agent?
- I am truly blessed, as I enjoy my career more and more each day. It actually doesn't even feel like work to me, and the satisfaction of my clients and referrals derived from their happiness is what leads me each day. Do what you love, and money and happiness are a given.
- What is the most challenging issue you face as a Real Estate Professional?
- I always find myself wanting to do more. Whether it is improving systems and processes, adding new technology, developing new strategy, etc. It is a juggling act to service clients and grow a business. This is why I have invested in developing and growing a team.
- Tell us one of your client success stories or an interesting moment in your profession.
- There have been many, and one day I vow to write a book of these stories and experiences. To this day, I would say a short sale that we did that many said couldn't be done...$200,000+ deficiency and over a dozen state & federal tax liens. We managed to not only get it closed, but have a large amount directed to pay-off the tax liens ... at no cost to the home seller.
- What is your best characteristic?
- Ethical. Ethics and honesty guide my career and client representation each day. I will never bend the rules to make a buck.
- Who or what inspires you the most?
- This is a two-fold answer. I learned work ethic at a very early age from my parents and that matured me quickly. That work ethic is deeply engrained into me forever. In addition, I invest in a business coaching program who keeps my team and I on the right path, on the cutting edge, and focused.
- What is the best advice you ever received?
- Two things: "Never let your highs get too high, or your lows get too low." "Don't fall in-love with an outcome."
- If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?
- Northern Michigan. We are blessed to be in a truly amazing state and from where I stand, you can't beat Northern Michigan (well ... outside of winter, that is).
