- It depends greatly on the area, condition and property.
- Why do you enjoy being a real estate agent?
- The satisfaction of working hard for my clients is the greatest reward. Seeing my clients happy is my goal. Having the phone ring with another referral is the best reinforcement I can get.
- What is the most challenging issue you face as a Real Estate Professional?
- Dealing constantly with uncertainty. Especially the unknowns concerning inspections and financing that can arise later in the transaction. Most people don't realize how much can go wrong. Keeping the deal together and making it to close can be a real challenge - that is a huge priority to me. I take my responsibility very seriously.
- Tell us one of your client success stories or an interesting moment in your profession.
- After meeting a couple showing them one of my listings, they were not interested that home but did not have a buyers agent. I explained how it works and we later went to look at some properties. They wanted to write an offer on a property they already looked at once - it was a foreclosure. Because I was their Buyers Agent, in the due diligence I found that the property had been on a former toxic waste dump - something the other agent/seller did not disclose (or need to due to no disclosure). They were sad to lose out on the property but very glad they chose me as a Buyers Agent.

- Thoroughness.
- Who or what inspires you the most?
- Inspiration comes from my personal drive to always strive for greater things, to learn each day, to grow, to be grateful for what you have but reach for higher goals. I love what I do and do my best to help others - rather than focusing on strictly on financial goals. I have been successful as a result.
- What is the best advice you ever received?
- We are problem solvers.
- If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?
- There is no place like home - right here in the greater Grand Rapids area. We have beautiful terrain, Lakes, culture, excellent schools, shopping and so much more!
