In our married life of 50 years, we have bought and sold ten different principal residences, vacation homes, apartment buildings, or condominiums in Louisiana, Massachusetts, and Maine. Those 20 events gave us the experience to know the difference and were as varied as night and day. Most of the agents were competent; some not. Generally the agents were hard-working, some not. Few were really sales oriented, most were order takers. Some didn't return calls and most did a very poor job of keeping us abreast of interest and what was going on with our purchase or sale. Too many simply were not made to handle the intensity needed to keep the client happy and hustle to close out the deal. Most did not like to work on weekends. Lori Garon changed all that perception for us. Her caring, pleasing personality enables her to convey a can-do attitude that moves forward. She follows up. She made phone calls to let us know what was going on. In a down market she was upbeat. She stayed on top of things and when one idea did not work she tried another. She did all the little things that the other real estate folks were simply ill prepared or not ready to take charge of. She sold our home, which was the name of the game. And she did it all with courtesy, aplomb, and the most professional attitude of any real estate people with whom we have had experience. It is nice to know that there is a person out there in this business that can be trusted to do what is right, and who will succeed at it.
A Great Experience!
I worked with Lori, Nick and Jan last year when selling my condo and purchasing a house in a different city. I have moved 9 times over the past 25 years and have worked with a variety of agents in different areas of the US. Finding My Home
I worked with Nick Dambrie and the Garon Group for over a year while trying to find my first home. As an inexperienced home buyer, my interests included multi-units, single families, and condos. Nick tirelessly walked me through more than 20 homes paying careful attention to my likes and dislikes before I found the right one. Nick’s trained eye put me at ease as we evaluated each property from heating and water systems to roofing and siding. While at the property that would eventually become my home, Nick stopped me to listen to a plane flying over head. He wanted to make sure that the sound wouldn’t bother me long term. It’s this attention to detail, and concern for the client that makes him such an outstanding agent. The Garon Group also worked as my advocate through many paper obstacles including short sales, hiccups in financing, and lackluster lenders.
