2003
How many years have you been in Real Estate?
I have been in real estate since 2003.
What is the average home price in your market?
The average home price in my market is over a million dollars.
Are there any new developments or trends in your area?
The sale of upper bracket (1 million plus)homes are surprisingly doing well in my area. Most sellers who have the option not to sell are renovating and staying put.
Why do you enjoy being a real estate agent?
I love the opportunity to meet people with different needs and the challenge to meet and surpass their expectation.
What is the most challenging issue you face as a Real Estate Professional?
Since we are in one of the most down markets since 1990s the biggest challenge is to educate some sellers not to overprice their homes.
Tell us one of your client success stories or an interesting moment in your profession.
I had a listing of an elderly lady who lived part of the year in Florida and the other half in Maryland. She gave me the listing for her condo in MD and left for a 2 week trip to FL. She got injured and was not able to return to vacate her condo or attend settlement. I sold some of her furniture at the auction house and shipped the rest to her in Florida so she would not have to make the trip back out to Maryland.
What is your best characteristic?
I am very detail oriented and dependable.
Who or what inspires you the most?
Being a mother and raising my sons inspire me the most.
What is the best advice you ever received?
My grandfather once told me the one thing no one can ever take away from you is your education and your good reputation.
If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?
I would love to live in Florence, Italy.
