Jeff was great through our entire home buying process! As first time home buyers we were feeling overwhelmed before we found Jeff. He walked us through the entire process, as well as many homes, before he found the perfect place for us. He was constantly in touch with us if he ever found a house we should look at, or if we ever had any questions. Jeff was always a phone call away! We are very priviledged and thankful to have worked with him and to have the experience we are walking away with.

Jeff Smith was very professional with his job to help us find our new home. He truly was full service. We needed help to find contractors to repair some items that arose from the home inspection and Jeff referred us to 3 different trades to get the work done. I would refer him to all my friends and relatives in the future.

Felt very comfortable with her and her husband, felt that we were important even though we were buyers instead of sellers, which I didn't feel with other realtors we interviewed. She's both professional and personable. Doesn't come off as stuffy like other realtors. Is very knowledgable and down-to-earth. Doesn't tell you what you want to hear but what you need to hear - that's really important when buying a home. Trusted her judgment and advice very much. Love our house and overall, very pleased with home buying process.

Ilene recommended House Master who missed issues including $1,300.00 in repairs due to reverse pitched pipes. House Master came through with a refund. I would not recommend House Master. Amerispec whom Ilene recommended tested the septic with die and capacity tests, which are not accurate in determining a septic system’s vitality. They also missed that the house had a termite problem at some point in its history. I would not recommend Amerispec. We were in the house 3 days and the system failed, we had Shilling Septic come out and dig only to find a cesspool cinder block tank with remnants of an old steel tank from 1957 and a second cinder block tank. Anne Arundel County inspected and the property, which qualified for the Bay Restoration Fund. Installation of a Nitrogen Reducing Septic System was covered by the county, we paid for the drain fields. Radon tests revealed above normal levels. Ilene said there was a 50% chance of Radon, but that the Pasadena area is not a problem area.
