Are there any new developments or trends in your area?
There are a lot of good opportunities in my area. There's still a lot of new construction and builders are offering a lot of great incentives to the prospective Buyer. We are still strongly in a Buyer's market with the sales prices still steadily declining. The importance for an experienced Agent for both the Buyer and Seller is more crucial then ever.
Why do you enjoy being a real estate agent?
I enjoy all aspects of my industry. I love working with people and getting to know each and every one. I have lasting relationships with all my past clients and keep in touch with them as much as possible. I love helping others acheive their real estate goals and seeing how excited they are at settlement when they get those keys!
What is the most challenging issue you face as a Real Estate Professional?
The most challenging issue I face as a Real Estate Professional is making both Buyers and Sellers understand the challenges of today's market. The media has built up some expectations on the Buyer's end that at times are unrealistic and for Seller's it's very tough to grasp the reality of the declining home prices. I have had great success at building the trust necessary to have both types of clients trust my knowledge of this industry in order to acheive great success with their purchase or sale.

I think each and everytime I get a client to settlement without any stress or frustration is another highlight in my career. There's nothing better then the excitement of seeing someone get the keys to their new home and knowing you helped them get there.

I think my best characteristic is my personality. I have been in the customer service business for 20 years and am very comfortable all people and building a bond with them from the beginning. I truly enjoy getting to know my clients on a business and personal level.

I am a very goal oriented and driven person by nature. I always like to reach for the stars and see if I can grab one! I have found since being a mother that I strive to do better all the time for the sake of their future as well as my own. I enjoy showing them how setting goals and a lot of posiitive thinking can result in amazing things.
What is the best advice you ever received?
Set goals and never think anything is impossible.
If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?
I love the Frederick area and for now think this is where I want to be. It's a wonderful place to raise a family, has so many neat places to visit and is a safe and beautiful place to live. I would at some point like to go South...I long for a beach in my backyard!
