- Its exciting, you make your own schedule, you get to see lots of great homes, and help people with the largest purchase they are normally make, then they become friends.
- What is the most challenging issue you face as a Real Estate Professional?
- Trying to educate our clients on challenging market conditions. Sellers think their homes are worth more and buyers think they are worth less!

- I've sold over 1,000 homes and each has a good story, but a recent purchase was very memorable. My client purchased a foreclosure for a good price. The home needed cosmetic work but had good bones (structure). We had done a home inspection and requested the bank to make certain repairs, which they normally do not do in an "as is" sale. The water was turned off so we had to wait for the other agent to get the water turned on for us to do the plumbing inspection. When we flushed the toilet the water backed up inside the house...not good! Turns out the bank agreed to a repair, thinking it was a small repair. The plumber the bank hired did a great job in locating the problem, a clogged main line which goes from the house to the street. Tree roots had grown from the house ALL the way to the street clogging the entire main sewage line. What the bank thought was a small problem turned to be a major issue, but they had agreed to make the repair. We ended up postponing settlement while the bank dug a 13 foot hole from the house to the street and replaced the entire sewage line. That would have cost my clients upwards of $10,000 had we missed the problem or not "persuded" the bank to make the repair. My clients were not happy that things were delayed or with a huge hole but when they saw the extent of the problem and cost to repair, they were very glad I was on their side.

- Who or what inspires you the most?
- My philosophy is to always "Finish what we start". That was a lesson I learned from my father and its always inspired me.

- FINISH WHAT YOU START.
- If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?
- Waterfront property on the Chesapeake Bay. Plan to get there when I retire.
