He was pushy, didn't take his time and we had to do our own searches for houses. He definitely looked out for himself, was not sincere, and got frustrated when we didn't immediately pick a house. He lacked knowledge in the business he claimed to know (and was adamant about knowing). Would not recommend.

Teresa Caplan helped my family with our first home buying experience. She is very intuitive and immedialy understood what type of home we were looking for and what we needed in an agent. She will tell you all the pros and cons of a home but when you're ready to buy, she is a tough negotiator. She guided us every step of the way and was always available. Our home inspector was good but Teresa pointed out a couple of things to him that he forgot! She was very protective of our interests and when extensive repairs needed to be made, spent long hours visiting the home to supervise. And long after the transaction, she stays in touch, making sure everything is right with the home. Incredible customer service. I would recommend Teresa Caplan to anyone.

Jill Lapides of Re/Max 100 is a very detail-oriented, organized, thorough agent who knows a lot about houses and won't push you into a house. I used her to buy my first home, which can be a scary experience, but she pointed out every flaw in each house, insisted on every inspection and never pushed me to buy something that I wasn't comfortable with. It felt great getting into a home and not finding out afterward that it had a bunch of problems. She even got the seller to put on a new roof, because mine was old. I would highly recommend her to anyone - first time buyer, or not. She is knowledgable and much more on top of the situation than other agents I have seen.

Never returned phone calls emails voice mails, cause 2 delays of closing, embezzled money by asking for an extra 1k if he found a buyer which had already contacted him to buy. Never use. Cost me a total of 18k bad bad bad bad.

My husband and I used Mike Altobelli as our real estate agent in April of'06 to purchase our first home. Upon first meeting him, he came prepared with homes in our target area and budget and gladly took us to see as many houses as we wanted. Once we found our home, he came to our house at 4:30 the following morning (after being up all night drafting the paperwork) because that was the only time that we were available. He kept in contact and was honest and gave us great advice. Even a year later, he still calls us to make sure that we are still happy with our purchase and to see how we are doing. All in all, Mike eased the stress of the homebuying process and I would DEFINITELY recommend him (and the entire A Team) to anyone in the housing market!!!
