- Why do you enjoy being a real estate agent?
- I worked at IBM and was in high tech for years before I became an agent. I find that all those skills I developed over the years, project management, budget, customer service, problem solving, data analysis, etc. all translated very well into this career. I have refined those skills as I learn the markets in depth in my local areas and will always be glad for the prior experiences I had in life that prepared me for this very challenging career.
- What is the most challenging issue you face as a Real Estate Professional?
- The complexity of the transactions continues to increase as the markets and financial situations change. We are dealing with distress sales at every price point and those present very challenging territory to try and get to a closing
- Tell us one of your client success stories or an interesting moment in your profession.
- My very first home inspection I went up a ladder to attic and peered up through the space. My eyes grew very large as I stared at empty snake skins directly in front of me! I didn't stay up there long enough to find the real guys and let the home inspector have his ladder back...
- What is your best characteristic?
- I will do what I say. My communication skills are good because I listen to what you say and follow through on what I say I'll do for you.
- Who or what inspires you the most?
- I'm inspired to help get my clients the best outcome possible, whether it's buying their first home and navigating through the maze or helping an elder resident move out of a long term home. With each person it's a different story and that makes for interesting work every day!
- What is the best advice you ever received?
- Always remember it's not about me and it's always about the client.
- If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?
- Right where I am in Bethesda. My family is here and our lives are rich and blessed!
