Really Knowledgable and Helpful

Jeff was extremely helpful in helping my husband and I purchase our new home and sell the home that we were currently in. What is the average home price in your market?: I can't honestly say there's an average. I've represented people spending as little as $60,000 on t
Why do you enjoy being a real estate agent?: The ability to be handed someone else's problem, and to solve it is awesome. But nothing really competes with selling a home to a first time homeowner and seeing the look on their face when they get their keys. You can't fake joy like that.
What is the most challenging issue you face as a Real Estate Professional?: There isn't one specific issue, which keeps the job fresh. If it was the same problem every day, the simple rote nature of the job would make it tedious. Each individual and transaction brings it's own set of objectives and problems, which gets me out of bed in the morning to take on entirely new challenges.
Tell us one of your client success stories or an interesting moment in your profession.: During the course of one particular transaction, my client, on settlement day, went to do their final walk through. There were issues in the home that had been concealed, and the seller was unwilling to do anything about them. The seller had not given the buyer a necessary home owner's association disclosure during the course of the transaction, and this left my client an 'out' to our contract. As we, all agents, buyer and seller, stood in the kitchen, I hand wrote an addenda voiding the contract, had my client sign it, and told the seller "We'll wait an hour for you to get to the table, after that, you can sell the house to someone else." and out we walked. Walking out of the house, my client asked "How'd we do?" "Hang in there." I told her. Half an hour later, as we sat at the settlement table, in walked the seller, with her agent. At the table, in front of everyone, she said "No offense to *agent's name not important*, she's a great friend of mine, but the next time I buy a house, I'm coming to YOU!" And she produced evidence that the repairs would be made. My client hi-5'd me after settlement. That was a first. :)
What is your best characteristic?: I'm short, and have a hard time overlooking things.
Who or what inspires you the most?: I'm inspired by my family, and my desire to make sure they're safe and happy.
What is the best advice you ever received?: Whenever negotiating, no matter how many interests are at stake, only one person representing a position speaks at a time. And DO NOT eat yellow snow.
If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?: I'm blessed enough to live wherever I'd choose, and I choose Baltimore, the home I'm in, and the family I'm in it with, and I'll have it no other way.
