The late Paul Minjire ran away from his native Kenya after swindling a number of business partners. Before that he ran a pompous Mercantile Insurance company in Nakuru 150 kms N.W of nairobi before it was declared bankrupt and people lost fortunes. He switched camps to Nairobi before he came to Lowell and revived his dream "Mercantile" name. I didnt know what the man was doing in Lowell or else i would have informed the authorities. After selling many sub-primes, he was interrogated by the FBI and then he decamped (running across state lines) to Kenya where he died painfully of dreaded AIDS. He must also have infected a number of women in Lowell.
