- The opportunity to help people with one of the most significant decisions of their life and to develop what are often lasting relationships makes my work rewarding.
- What is the most challenging issue you face as a Real Estate Professional?
- My biggest challenge is making folks understand that the best REALTOR for them is not necessarily the one with the most lawn signs. (How many listings can one agent properly represent?) All I ask of people is to give me a chance to tell my story and see if there's a "chemistry" that will click.
- Tell us one of your client success stories or an interesting moment in your profession.
- One recent success was in representing the "Grand Dame" on Hingham's noted Main Street. The house needed care and a person with vision to see the bones in this historic house (built in 1774.) After numerous showings and telling and re-telling the history of the home over 230 years, I caught the imagination of a couple who have since restored it to it's grandeur.
- What is your best characteristic?
- I suppose my best characteristic is possibly my most surprising, for someone of my age (or any age). I believe I have excellent computer/Internet skills which give me a big leg up on the competition.
- Who or what inspires you the most?
- I am most inspired by the numbers of Americans who tirelessly work every day, care for their families, support their communities, volunteer service, and ask only to be treated with respect. It's the least they deserve and my hat is off the them!
- What is the best advice you ever received?
- Never try to pat yourself on the back. You'll throw your arm out . (My mom.)
- If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?
- Live anywhere? Hmm. Close to my grandchildren. Near the water. I love the changing of the seasons. Close to a big city. Theater and fine dining are important. A good airport. Water transportation to the city. Lots of public parks and beaches. A place to moor my boat. A friendly yacht club. A great place to work. Right here! (Dosen't everyone say that?)
