Incompetent, Unethical & Sloppy

Maureen is exactly what you don't want a broker to be. I found her very willing to "break" many real estate rules. For example, she didn't convey the seller's counter offers because she didn't think I, the buyer would entertain it. This is clearly not her decision to make. Not too mention she doesn't even know me. She repeatedly used puffery (promotional statements and claims that express subjective rather than objective views) to influence my decision. On several ocassions she told me what price, below asking her seller would accept. She justified this jokingly by saying, "I hope this room isn't being recorded". She placed several ads for the listing; many reflected old asking prices, including her own web site. Thus, hurting the seller's ability to sell. She unethically withheld information regarding repairs she knew would influence the sale. She informed her sellers to set their asking price using comps that were 2 years old vs. those from the recent quarter. Her company is very slow in returning the in earnest money I deposited because I supposedly offender her. There is no legal basis for this. Avoid Maureen like the plaque.
