What year did you become a real estate agent?
2003
How many years have you been in Real Estate?
I have been buying and selling real estate personally for many years. I became licensed in 2003.
What is the average home price in your market?
Probably in the $200K range
Are there any new developments or trends in your area?
Since Hurricane Katrina, the challenges are many. Gutted homes are being sold daily, some areas coming back quickly, others not so fast. This will take years to set a trend.
Why do you enjoy being a real estate agent?
I DO LOVE looking at houses! Therefore when I have clients who really want to look at "everything", I don't mind at all! I also like helping people with probably their greatest investment!
What is the most challenging issue you face as a Real Estate Professional?
I am thoroughly into EDUCATION and I strive to take classes and courses constantly to improve my skills and knowledge of the real estate industry.
Tell us one of your client success stories or an interesting moment in your profession.
I have been very successful with first time buyers because I take the time necessary to educate them on the process of buying a home. We start with a lender and I walk them through to the closing and beyond!
What is your best characteristic?
My attention to the slightest detail has always made me successful in anything I do. I am highly organized and I try never to "forget"!
Who or what inspires you the most?
I am inspired by my Christian religious beliefs and humbly believe that everything happens for a reason.
What is the best advice you ever received?
My mother always said, "Don't cry over spilled milk". It's true, you have got to pick up the pieces and get moving again, regardless!
If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?
I'm living in my perfect place right now, Slidell, LA. Even after the devastation of Katrina, I love it here!
