What year did you become a real estate agent?
1999
How many years have you been in Real Estate?
since 1999
What is the average home price in your market?
$350,000
Are there any new developments or trends in your area?
People are learning how to market their homes via the MLS using Flat Fee Brokers like myself while maintaining the right to sell "By Owner" saving thousands of dollars of hard earned "sweat equity."
Why do you enjoy being a real estate agent?
I love helping people keep the money they earned and deserve from their homes and investments. I also enjoy matching people who will treat them with the respect and great customer service they deserve for the amount of money that is shelled out in the home buying/selling process.
What is the most challenging issue you face as a Real Estate Professional?
Educating the public about their options when it comes to selling their homes. Educating the agents on new innovative business models such as mine. Getting the word out that sellers do have options, not just 6-8% for full service.
Tell us one of your client success stories or an interesting moment in your profession.
I choose this niche line of real estate when I was taking care of a friend who had terminal cancer. I found that by assisting homesellers virtually and teaching them the basics of selling their home, I was able to care for my friend and still attend to the needs of my clients based on how much they actually needed me.
What is your best characteristic?
Understanding that not everyone has the same level of skills and adjusting the pace to accomodate every situation.
Who or what inspires you the most?
Being the best broker in the business who is known for helping people save money and not take it.
What is the best advice you ever received?
Never give up.
If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?
I love to travel and have been all over the world. If I want to go somewhere to visit, then I go and visit. I wouldn't live anywhere else than where I live now, a place where people from all over the world come to visit, New Orleans French Quarter.
