Aimee, Your first mistake was allowing your sister, Sue Seelig act as your buyer's agent in Louisiana when she was living in Houston. BOTTOM LINE- YOU MISSED SEVERAL DEADLINES AND WE HAD A BACK-UP OFFER FROM ANOTHER AGENT AND HIS CLIENT. Not to mention you cost my sellers money and almost the house they were purchasing. They too lost everything in Katrina and did not need this mess. A good realtor knows they have a fiduciary repsonsibily to their client. The sellers were my clients - my job was to make sure the purchaser- you were meeting the deadlines on the contract. The next time you purchase a home make sure to use someone that will represent you and not just write the offer.

I was referred to Lupe by another one of her clients who only had great things to say. I bought a house that Peter Gardner built. He did not disclose a HDLC violation even though he had constructive notice of it. Thus, the HDLC is bugging me about it. This is illegal. He also did not disclose that there was an ongoing neighborhood issue about where the property boundary of the house is. Again, illegal. The neighbors said he was constantly trying to force the city to condemn their houses so he could buy the land cheaply. In addition, the neighbors said that he was constantly ripping down fences and roofs without a permit, claiming that he could do whatever he wanted to do because his dad is rich. I have tried to contact him about the many defects he left in the house we bought. He arrogantly stated that he does not have to fix them, and that I should be nice to him if I ever want him to help me with anything again. No, I don't want anything from him, and neither should any prospective home buyer. AVOID PETER GARDNER: ARROGANT BRAT.
