In the Prairieville La. area there are a large number of residential subdivisions being developed at this time. With all the new growth, our infrastructure and school system is keeping pace. The Morning Advocate Newspaper reported that predictions are that the Ascension Parish area will grow by 80% by the year 2030. It is a wonderful place to raise a family. What is the most challenging issue you face as a Real Estate Professional?
With the lending crunch of lately, getting clients qualified is probably going to be the biggest challenge facing real estate professionals today.
Tell us one of your client success stories or an interesting moment in your profession.
I had a listing in which a buyers agent brought a buyer that put it under contract. We set a closing date for 6 weeks later. One day before closing, the lender contacted me to advise that the loan would not be approved due to several reasons including a income to debt ratio out of balance. The buyers agent seemed reserved to the fact that the deal was over. After realizing that I knew the buyer, I met with him to see if he was still interested in the home. They were still very much interested. I contacted my lender that I use exclusively and gave him the scenerio. After meeting and tweaking a few numbers, we had a successful closing 2 weeks later...

Negotiating and communicating effectively.
Who or what inspires you the most?
As it relates to real estate, I would have to say Gary Keller, CEO and co-founder of Keller Williams Realty, which is the first company I started my career with. He has written several New York Times Best Selling books on real estate.
