- $160,000 - $170,000 is considered the mid-price range and the fastest selling.
- Why do you enjoy being a real estate agent?
- I like working with people of all different personalities. I came from a state government background, so my focus is providing quality real estate service. In fact, I've incorporated that into my mission statement--"to provide the best quality of real estate service for my clients as I would expect to receive."
- What is the most challenging issue you face as a Real Estate Professional?
- At the moment, it is maintaining a steady income. It's feast or famine. Last month, I had three closings, but this month there will be none.
- Tell us one of your client success stories or an interesting moment in your profession.
- I've had many successes, but the most interesting and scary was when I had an unstable individual with me who absolutely scared me to death. Fortunately, I stayed in contact with my husband by phone and let the guy hear me and also stayed in a populated area. He later went on to another agent who reported to me that he got out of his vehicle with a gun stuck in the front of his pants.
- What is your best characteristic?
- The ability to deal with different personality types is an ability I discovered and developed in my state government job as a staff training specialist.
- Who or what inspires you the most?
- God inspires me, and my faith is constantly developing. I also derive great satisfaction in helping people.
- What is the best advice you ever received?
- "Roll with the punches." Use your advertising dollars for things with the longest shelf life.
- If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?
- In Louisiana, of course.
