Rebuttal to BJ
I still don't get these things! People can come on and say whatever they want, and nobody cares if it's true or not. They just assume it is! The truth is these people had their own personal Real Estate agent and had a Home Inspection with the inspector of their choice. They came with a list of repairs, and everything that was agreed to be fixed was fixed. They signed all of the papers after I agreed to pay almost every penny of their down payment and closing costs. After closing, I did agree to pay to repaint the bathtub. Evidently my painter did a poor job initially, so I assumed the obligation to repair the problem. Trust me, they new it was an old house!
He flipped our house alright!!!
He sold us a house he personally flipped. After we got in it a few weeks I started noticing stuff he just blew off. Like he spray painted our tub to look brand new. And when I tried to get him to pay for it he wouldn't pay for it all. The replacement windows weren't screwed in meaning they could have fallen out. There was glass allover the yard from all the old windows he'd replaced. The roof was not insulated in our sun porch and he knew but said nothing. And he knew there was leaking problems in the past he patched half heartedly and did't disclose it. People he painted over wall paper. When we went to paint it started bubbling everywhere. The craftsmanship he did is terrible how he sleeps at night is anyones guess. He's out for the fastest dollar. He could careless about you!!!
