Why do you enjoy being a real estate agent?: I love being connected with people, being a communicator, negotiator, educator, and problem solver. There are always new projects and challenges to keep me busy. I enjoy being in a performance based career and reaching a sense of accomplishment by helping people accomplish their Real Estate Goals.
What is the most challenging issue you face as a Real Estate Professional?: Each deal has their own set of challenges. Most of the time they can be worked through. Right now financing and home inspections seem to be the commonly recurring challenges. It is wise to get educated on these situations and face the realities as early as possible so there are less surprises during the Real Estate Buying or Selling process.
Tell us one of your client success stories or an interesting moment in your profession.: Right now, Team Sandlin is working at obtaining the #1 Buyer Agent position in the F.C. Tucker Company for the 5th year in a row.
What is your best characteristic?: Hard work ethic combined with passion and patience.
Who or what inspires you the most?: Who? My parents. They raised 6 kids and always went out of their way to make sure we had what we needed. What? The 'sense of accomplishment' drives me to work hard for myself and for other people.
What is the best advice you ever received?: My uncle who is a very successful Realtor in Florida told me before I got into the business, "If you add value to the services you offer, people will want to do business with you."
If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?: Right here in Indianapolis, close to my family and friends. I love taking vacations, being adventurous, and seeing the country, but I always love coming back to home sweet home.
