P K buy a previous house with George Chernovsky and would not recommend them to other home buyers.
I was shown a repo by George. I ended up having my own realtor handle the tranaction. When she called he told her it would probaly be able to be bought for in the $50,000 even though they had it listed for $70,000. When it was inspected we found out that they'd brought in an old water heater and he was handling for an out of state bank. The overhead door was broken. George was supposed to have it repaired. All he did was have Overhead door come out and give him an estimate and presented it to me as a receipt. Before I even moved in while manually putting the door up it fell off the track. After calling Overhead door I found out what the scammer was pulling. I had to sue him in small claims court and he had to pay the $650.00 to have the new door put up. Very dishonest..I had pictures and the documents he had given me. I tried at that time to get his license taken away... I can't believe he's still out there scamming others... His son Dewayne was in on it

A search of the Indiana Professional Licensing Agency did not reveal a license for George Chernovsky. Perhaps he is listed under another name.
