We bought a house with Chris as our realtor about 3.5 years ago. We were new to the home buying experience and were depending on him be looking out for our best interest. He didn't. He never brought up a home warranty from seller, we had to buy our own after. He did not explain the counter offer procedure, our initial offer was too high. At the closing, after everything was signed and checks were written, the seller's realtor mentioned that there is water in the basement when it rains. "Just a little bit", she said. This was not in the disclosure. my husband and I looked at each other, and Chris, very confused. Chris just shrugged his shoulders. Now we are trying to sell our house, with a wet basement, and can't afford to repair is properly. Chris was nothing but a key to get in to houses. He also lied about buying us a gift card for thanking us for using him. We waited, it never came.
