- Why do you enjoy being a real estate agent?
- I love working with individuals in their home buying and selling processes. Buyers are eager to find that special "something" in a home, while sellers are proud of what they have to offer and excited at moving forward with their new adventure in life.
- What is the most challenging issue you face as a Real Estate Professional?
- Housing prices! Right now the market is very unstable when it comes to pricing homes. We have been faced with downturns in the economy and the housing prices are reflecting that. It is so hard to tell a client their home is not what it was worth when they purchased it, even with some of the upgrades they have done. The upgrades help stablize the price, but not always are we seeing the home appraise for what they hope to receive in the sale.

- When my clients walk away happy, they are always success stories! Recently, I had a client who was starting to look at homes, needed assistance as he had never purchased a home before. He really was not sure he could afford a home that fit his requirements. He was shocked that within a couple of weeks I found a home that fit ALL of his requirements AND was less than what he budgeted for! Needless, as soon as he saw the home, we made an offer before anyone else could. He closed on his home and loves it more every day!
- What is your best characteristic?
- Patient! I try to be very patient and listen to what my clients are saying. It is very important to me to "hear" what my clients are saying. I want to make sure I completely understand what they want and what they need so that I can give them choices and information in making the decision that is best for them.
- Who or what inspires you the most?
- My Grandmother was always my inspiration and still is even though she is no longer with me. She always strived to learn and that is still with me.
- What is the best advice you ever received?
- Never judge a book by its cover. People are like onions - there are many layers to each an every one of us. The discovery of each layer is amazing and unique.
- If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?
- Wow that is an awesome question! I am a bit of an underwater nature girl, I love to scuba dive. If I could live anywhere, it would be Grand Cayman. The diving is spectacular, the people are fantastically nice, the views incredible and the weather is fantastic year round.
