C R buy a previous house with Jay Howell and would not recommend them to other home buyers.
I am currently attempting to purchase a home from this company. My loan is out of underwriting (almost 2 weeks) and this agent has yet to get the repairs done they agreed to complete. This is a breach of contract. I've asked a lot of my customers about this company and they all replied that this is a company that will not get things done. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!

From this site's BLOG page to AGENTS... "Review Responses: We have also decided to no longer charge in order to respond to reviews. All agents are now able to respond to reviews for free. If they have an issue with a review that was left on their profile, they are now able to clarify the issue for everyone to see. This includes reviews that were previously posted on the old version of IncredibleAgents.com" I give the floor over to Tom...gladly. I'd LOVE to wrap this up before your lawyer accrues any more fees that aren't needed. Jay Howell tried to intercede today and wrap this up to avoid any further nonsense. You refused. You want to sue me. My terms for exchange of a quit claim deed for a release of financial responsibility on the property were more than fair under the seller's remedies for default. You wanted first $10,000 and then dropped it to $6000. AND THE PROPERTY which you were marketing for the last month again even though I'm on the hook and on the books for.

The term REALTOR® has come to connote competency, fairness, and high integrity resulting from adherence to a lofty ideal of moral conduct in business relations. No inducement of profit and no instruction from clients ever can justify departure from this ideal. In the interpretation of this obligation, REALTORS® can take no safer guide than that which has been handed down through the centuries, embodied in the Golden Rule, “Whatsoever ye would that others should do to you, do ye even so to them.” Accepting this standard as their own, REALTORS® pledge to observe its spirit in all of their activities and to conduct their business in accordance with the tenets set forth below. Duties to Clients and Customers Article 1 When representing a buyer, seller, landlord, tenant, or other client as an agent, REALTORS® pledge themselves to protect and promote the interests of their client. This obligation to the client is primary, but it does not relieve REALTORS® of their obligation

The term extortion is often used metaphorically to refer to usury or to price-gouging, though neither is legally considered extortion. It is also often used loosely to refer to everyday situations where one person feels indebted against their will, to another, in order to receive an essential service or avoid legal consequences. For example, certain lawsuits, fees for services such as banking, automobile insurance, gasoline prices, and even taxation, have all been labeled "legalized extortion" by people with various social or political beliefs. Neither extortion nor blackmail require a threat of a criminal act, such as violence, merely a threat used to elicit actions, money, or property from the object of the extortion. Such threats include the filing of lawsuits to gain this end. This is what I feel the $10,000.00 initial demand was from TH. Massive legal $$ were inferred if not. I believe this agent is suing me for defamation / libel, so I am clarifying my opinion and meaning.

If ANYTHING I would give this individual NEGATIVE stars...the 2 5 STAR Ratings were a MISTAKE that I can't correct. I can't say enough BAD things about the experience I have had with Tom Hyunh, George Martin, and Red Howell Realtors. These statements are OPINIONS and the series of events to the best of my knowledge. It is my OPINION that there is some shady dealings going on with the property being marketed at 330 W. Rudisill Blvd. It's in MY name and yet I KNOW I didn't put a RED HOWELL sign in the front yard...yet there one sits. THE HOUSE CAN NOT BE SOLD UNTIL I SIGN A QUIT CLAIM DEED which I am happy to do as soon as I get a RELEASE OF FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITY document signed and filed downtown. So far the agent and the lawyer have attempted to get first $10,000.00 and then $6,000.00 as an asking price for that piece of paper. WATCH YOURSELF WITH THE PEOPLE MENTIONED ABOVE! Extremely UNETHICAL behavior according to the governing bodies in Indidana for brokers' web site.

In my humble opinion, my dealings with Tom Hyunh as a real estate broker have left me with this impression...Unethical, self-serving, deceitful, thief, unprofessional, conniving, untrustworthy, manipulative, dishonest and someone I wouldn't turn my back on my wallet to. His agency seems to be more of the same. Attempted to correct altracation between myself & Tom through Jay Howell, owner of Red Howell realty to no positive end. Obviously has NO IDEA the CRAP that is being pulled under his shingle. Real Estate Commission and Board of Realtors next on my list of people to contact if I don't get some satisfaction in the matter involving the property at 330 W. Rudisill...which, BTW, is OWNED by TOM HYUNH. He's not an agent for YOU concerning that home, but for HIMSELF. Wish we'd have KNOWN THAT when we called the BROKER for info back in January 2009. What a racket these poeple have going on. BUYER BEWARE! Many other reputable realtors out there. Enter into business at your risk.

This agent marketed a self owned property under the "Red Howell" sign and brokerage and when we entered into a land contract with him for a property "negected" to mention that the listing had "expired" through Red Howell, that he was now acting as a "Seller" and we were left unprotected without a realtor or broker representing my husband and I in this transaction. The lawyer we were presented with, a GEORGE MARTIN, was representing TOM HUYNH, not us and not the brokerage. When we attempted to back out of this transaction before actually taking posession or even completing a down payment, TOM HUYNH attempted to extort $10,000.00 from us telling us that if we didn't pay, he was going to file FORECLOSURE on us, which was a lie, he had no legal grounds to do so. We contacted RED HOWELL realtors per legal advice to see if they wanted to sanction MR. HUYNH for failing to act in the buyer's best interest as a licensed realestate agent. They refused. IN Real Estate Commission is next! BAD!
